Code For Life - Chapter 3 Cassiopeia Project
This video describes how DNA and RNA molecules guide the construction of our bodies. It describes the formation of RNA strands from DNA and the function of RNA. Combinations of twenty different amino acids form molecules called proteins, each of which performs a different function in the body.
This video is a part of the Cassiopeia collection, an effort to make science education videos available for free to anyone who wants them. The vision is that if a concept can be visualized, then understanding is not far behind. Each video is self-contained but also embedded in a larger science fiction story intended to generate interest in the sciences.
