The Outdoor Child Interview
A social studies classroom podcast created by classroom teacher and students. The use of interviews can create a motivating curriculum concept on inquiry studies for students int he elementary classroom. By capturing the rich stories of an individual's life, students are able to integrate computer technology to research, take notes, develop questions, role play, produce, and discover how interviews evolve into a very active part of their learning environment. This video is an example of inquiry based learning from an award-winning iMovie interview "The Outdoor Child" created and prodcued entirely by 4th grade students from North Ranch Elementary.
